One of the first "modern" courses on the French Riviera.
Robert Trent Jones moulded Saint Donat into a variety of shapes, making intelligent use of existing vegetation and topography and contouring the flatter areas without ever going over the top.
The result is a very precise layout where the meanders of the small river come into play on half a dozen holes.
