A family property since 1150, brothers Guy and Jean d'Arcangues decided to transform agricultural land into a golf course in the 1980s.
Guy is the key player in Basque gentry. A top-level golfer, he was part of the French amateur team.
Jean, the active visionary gives confidence and reassurance. The two make up the pair, they share and invent, guided by the family spirit.
Today, the family is still at the helm of this course, which offers exceptional views of the Pyrenees mountain range, and its restaurant is one of the best local tables.
