The Golf Santa Ponsa was opened in 1977, becoming the first golf course in the municipality of Calvià and the second in Mallorca.
Situated on one of the best estates in the municipality with beautiful views of Puig Galatzó, it is a long course of 6.543 meters with 18 holes (Par 72); the 10th hole (Par 5) is one of the longest in Europe with 590 meters.
Designed by Folco Nardi (together with Pepe Gancedo), Golf Santa Ponsa I covers an area of 73 hectares and is a long course with lakes and a great variety of trees (olive, pine, almond etc).
It appeals to all kinds of players thanks to the wide fairways and the tees where long hitters will enjoy themselves without forgetting the short game tuned to a good result.
The course has been host to the European Tour six times.
The club is completed by two more courses (Golf Santa Ponsa II - III) for exclusive use of the shareholders.
Opened in 1991,the Golf Santa Ponsa II course is 6.053 meters, 18 holes (Par 72).
The holes of Golf Santa Ponsa II are situated in pine woods and between large lakes, offering many varied options of play.
The 18th hole is a very interesting Par 3 where the green is situated in a piece of land which is the shape of the island of Mallorca.
Opened in 1999, Golf Santa Ponsa III has a length of 1.599 m. for men and 1.332 m. for ladies, 9 holes (Par 30).
As with Golf Santa Ponsa II it is for exclusive use of the shareholders. It is an ideal course for beginners and for players who wish to improve their short game. It is also a course which adapts to Pitch and Putt.
The Marriott Son Antem Golf Club boasts two 18-hole golf courses on the Mediterranean island of Mallorca. The resort is located in beautiful surroundings with woods, old olive trees and breathtaking views towards the Randa mountain.
The East golf course, open in 1994, is laid on former hunting grounds. The course was designed to enable even beginners to enjoy their first contact with the ball. Wide and long fairways allow accurate drives.
However, it is also a challenge for the low handicappers, as some of the holes are quite long and difficult. Strong winds can sometimes call for accurate shots onto the bunker protected greens.

Opened in 1986 (with 9 holes) and extended in 1995, Real Golf de Bendinat is an 18-hole course(Par 70).
Designed by Martin Hawtree, the course of Real Golf Bendinat captivates its players thanks to the combination which is offered between valleys and mountains of Na Burguesa, with holes that need interesting strategy to obtain good results.
Most of the holes are well defined by trees from the tee. The greens are protected by bunkers and lakes, making the player choose carefully the shot to take, rewarding those who have made the right decision with good results.
Son Gual is a magnificent private club located on 156 hectares in the heart of a superb Mediterranean landscape. Visitors are welcomed with pleasure, but they must respect the club's etiquette rules to ensure that the exceptional quality of the course is maintained throughout the year.
The course opened in 2007, after a long period of design and development that makes this golf course a jewel of the region due to the quality of its greens and the exceptional layout. Located in the valley of the thousand windmills, the course is the work of former German amateur champion Thomas Himmel.
The course features one of the most beautiful Par 3 collections in Europe and an 18th hole that you will place at the top of your list if you play it. You will also not be disappointed by this Spanish garden which has the particularity of having more than 1,000 olive trees intelligently positioned.
The golf course
Son Gual's course is accessible to all levels even if a few holes will challenge more than one! The difficulties of the course are quite varied and you will not fail to test your game with all the clubs available in your bag. Nevertheless, beware of greens. Their width is compensated by subtle slopes and a fast ball roll. You will need all your concentration to attack the flags and make pars. Be patient, you will be rewarded. To get in shape, you can start your journey by admiring the view of the city of Palma but also of the Tramuntana mountains. Even if both par-3s are reachable, hole 4 will ask you for a precise approach. Don't be impressed by the majestic piece of water in hole 9 either; a par 3 that will remind you of Augusta's exceptional holes. Don't miss a break at hole 15 to admire the Palacio, which dates back to the First World War. The last hole is by far the icing on the cake. This hole does not forgive any mistakes on the fairway or the green. In any case, this course will allow you to test your level and concentration, rest assured.
The Club House
Don't miss a walk on the terrace of the club house before your course to admire the view of the bais de palma and the Palacio. You can also stop at the bar or restaurant and sip a glass of local wine on the menu.
A 9-hole course transformed into a beautiful 18-hole golf course.
Vall d'Or Golf was opened in 1986 as a 9-hole course (which is today played as the back nine).
In 1991 the work to extend the course began and in the spring of 1993 a new course was opened leading to the magnificent and enjoyable 18 holes that Vall d'Or has to offer at this moment.
It combines two completely different landscapes in the first and second round. The front nine holes have rolling fairways surrounded by a forest of pine, almond and olive trees. The back nine holes have wider and more uneven fairways that go down towards the coast.
The greens, protected by bunkers, welcome all approach shots. It is an average-difficulty golf course but quite entertaining, and with magnificent views of the Mediterranean Sea.
