Avalon is an 18-hole golf course in Mauritius that covers approximately 275 acres of land (out of the 544 acres of the estate).

The course is perhaps best known for its hole #4. The starting shot is made from a start along a raised ridge line, across a ravine, to a fairway well below the starting mounds. A breathtaking start, but still demanding.
Peter Matkovich's unique touch is evident all along the route and his masterpiece is characterized by green and green alleys, exceptional supplies and the intelligent use of the characteristics of rivers and ravines.
The route of the course has been designed taking into account the SE'ly trade wind. All par 3s and par 5s play in different directions, providing the golfer with variable conditions throughout the round.

Bernhard Langer designed the 18-hole, par 72 championship course to challenge advanced players, whilst keeping it exciting and playable for recreational golfers.
The golf course has five sets of tee boxes on each hole, which allows the angles of attack and approach shots to vary greatly.
There are a number of generous fairways on the course, however there are some holes do require accuracy off the tee in order to have a clear second shot.
The Legend golf course is located along one of the most superb beaches in Mauritius.
Designed in 1994 by South African champion, Hugh Baiocchi, alongside a pristine beach of Mauritius.
Each of the 18 holes has distinctive characteristics and the superb fairways are laid in the heart of an indigenous forest, with brand new greens built to USPGA specifications.
Teeing off at the Par 3-17th hole is a feast for the eyes and a test for the nerves: this championship course is set in the midst of a naturally beautiful site originally used to breed deer.
It also hosts one of the main events on the European Senior Tour calendar, the MCB Tour Championship every December.

The Links course at Constance Belle Mare Plage is the newest of the two and is located just a 5-minute transfer from the resort.
Designed by Rodney Wright and Peter Alliss, the course opened in 2002 and provides quite a different test to the Legend.
This 18-hole course is set in a location which seems to have been naturally created for the purpose, laid out across beautiful undulating terrain, with raised tee-boxes and greens.

Despite the fact that it is a relatively short course it offers great challenges to the players as it is very tight and thus precision and technical shots are called for.
